Data Scientist

The Data Scientist is an accomplished technical leader and a team player with substantial software engineering experience, preferably with some experience within the healthcare industry. The candidate must have hands-on experience with enterprise level software development, integration and implementation using advanced data science or big data technologies. The ideal candidate will have a good foundation of the Java, Scala, R, Spark, REST API, AWS, S3, PostgreSQL, Big Data and SQL/Data Modeling.The candidate must demonstrate a willingness to learn new cutting edge technologies and overcome technical challenges in a fast paced environment. The candidate will provide design, and implementation expertise to a cross-functional software development team. The Data Engineer will play a key role in developing next generation data analytics platform leveraging latest data science technologies, DevOps, cloud computing, and Data Lake / big data technologies.

Cloud DevOps Engineer

To assist in the development and transformation of systems leveraging an Automation / DevOps model. Areas of work will include the development of automation, monitoring (alerting/logging), deployment and continuous integration working closely with our Infrastructure teams and business partners. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, able to multi task, can work independently and is a team performer. You should also have a proactive approach to identify problems before they happen and implement solutions that detect and prevent outage.

Responsibilities:

  • Architecture, design and planning for application migrations into multi-mode cloud
  • Support business technology plans, influence over architectural designs and documentation for hybrid cloud solutions
  • Streamline operations by building appropriate automations
  • Generation of run-books for new and existing solutions
  • Lead technical projects in support of support Cloud initiatives
  • Collaborate with other teams and external vendors to deliver quality solutions to our clients
  • Be responsive to the business, colleagues, vendors and management
  • Assist in resolution of issues with new and existing cloud solutions as required
  • Develop recommendations as well as architectural improvements that increase efficiencies and provide overall business support of cost reduction initiatives
  • Maintain currency with latest developments with private and public cloud functionality Some after business hours and weekend work is required in this role
  • Participation in on-call rotation expected

Skills Required:

  • Advanced knowledge and experience of public and private cloud environments
  • Demonstrated experience with automation and DevOps concepts and implementation
  • Must be proficient in Scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby, PowerShell) and with SDLC tools (TFS, Octopus, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.)
  • Experience working with configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
  • Demonstrated capability around operating cloud applications and using associated tools (Cloudwatch, Cloudwatch Logs, DataDog, Splunk)
  • Working experience with operations and DevOps on AWS
  • Working experience with operations and DevOps on AZURE
  • Firm understanding of AWS and Azure network constructs and Identity/Access Management
  • Knowledge of Server Operating systems with an emphasis on Microsoft and UNIX
  • 5+ Years of experience in Information Technology, 3 years in a senior infrastructure role
  • A demonstrated history of learning new technologies and the ability to integrate them to provide solutions to complex problems
  • Proven experience in working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. Must be able to adapt to rapidly evolving opportunities
  • Organized and methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and lead technical teams
  • Ability to exercise strict confidentiality
  • Familiar with ITSM and ITIL methodology
  • A University degree or college equivalent
  • AWS DevOps Engineer Professional certification is highly preferred

AEM Developer

Description:
The role of the AEM developer will focus on standing up and building brand new experiences on their digital properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing web applications using the Adobe platform, including guidance of site structure, components, templates, workflows, dialogs, object model designs (Java APIs), and unit testing using AEM architecture (CRX, OSGI, JCR)
  • Setup and configure AEM authoring, publish, and dispatcher environment with Adobe recommended best practices
  • Integrate AEM with other marketing products like Assets, Target, Campaign, and other internal endpoints
  • Work closely with Vendor partner to ensure sound practices regarding site architecture, performance and reliability, and content delivery are in place
  • Work in SAFe agile development Methodology
  • Work with front-end technologies and frameworks
  • Follow best practices for secure web programming and deployment. Adhere to internal best practices with respect to coding standards, unit test coverage, automation, and continuous integration
  • Develop alongside an Offshore team of AEM Developers

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Adobe AEM Developer with strong Java/J2EE background in both front-end web design and AEM integration.
  • 3+ years of AEM 6.x/CQ5 experience
  • Sound understanding of all AEM building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, social components etc., code build and deployment process
  • 2+ years of UI development experience with ES6 Java Script and CSS preprocessors(LESS, SASS)
  • 2+ years of strong web content management experience with Adobe AEM/CQ5
  • 3+ years of Java development and familiarity of frameworks such as OSGi
  • Experience developing reusable AEM components for authoring content, reusable code libraries, unit testing, automation and code walkthroughs
  • The ability to present technical concepts to technical and non-technical internal/external stakeholders Ability to write clean, modular, reusable code (using design patterns) and experience with unit-test driven approach to development
